Wheldon Killed, Button-Hamilton Sad

News for Wheldon : The two McLaren drivers, Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton, expressing condolences over the death of Daniel Wheldon in the IndyCar Series race in 2011, Sunday, October 16, 2011 local time.

Wheldon became the only victim who was killed in a deadly accident involving 15 cars at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Circuit. When you wish to avoid an accident in front of her car twice Indy 500 winner and IndyCar Series champion 2005 is just flying and hit the barrier.

Wheldon was not helped even though life was taken to University Medical Centre. British rider dies at age 33.

Wheldon's death makes Button and Hamilton in surprise. Two former F1 world champion Briton Wheldon remembered as a true racer. Button and Hamilton are both familiar with Wheldon since starting his career in go-kart event.

"I have many good memories during the race with Dan in the early 1990s. Racer true. We lost a legend in this sport. I can not imagine how his family, and my condolences to them in these difficult times," said Button.

Meanwhile, Hamilton, McLaren's official website, Wheldon as one considers his role model.

"And is the driver that I follow throughout his career, I often follow in his footsteps as a career in England. He was full of talent. A true Englishman, he was inspiring. This is a great loss," said Hamilton.
