Steve jobs apple founder dies

CALIFORNIA

One of the founders of Apple, Steve Jobs reportedly died. He passed away at age 56 after a long struggle against cancer.

Jobs death was announced by Apple in a statement Wednesday night.

Silicon Valley icon who 'reward' the world with the iPod and iPhone resigned as CEO of the world's largest technology company in August, handing over control to the chief executive, Tim Cook.

Jobs, who fought a rare form of pancreatic cancer, was also suffering from heart disease.
