Libya Admits Arrest Moutassim Khadafi

Tripoli - Libya's interim government is now held by the National Transitional Council (NTC) acknowledged the arrest of Gaddafi Moutassim . Moutassim Gaddafi is the son of a former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

"Moutassim Gaddafi in Sirte captured and it is being moved to Benghazi. We did not announce this before the arrest, in order to avoid the efforts of family or followers tried to set him free," according to a spokesman for the Board of NTC Abdelkarim Bizama told AFP on Thursday (10/13/2011) .

After news of the arrest spread Moutassim , anti-Gaddafi citizens directly excited by aerial firing in Tripoli and Misrata.

Born in 1975, Moutassim Gaddafi holds a position as national security adviser. Itself known soldier and physician career and is considered as a rival of his brother Seif al-Islam in an effort to replace his father's position.

Arrest Moutassim certainly cause a sense of optimism from the NTC to continue to arrest the remnants of power Gaddafi. Now, the government continues to try to catch Saif al-Islam who is rumored to be in the city of Bani Walid.

Parties NTC forces also continued to hunt Moammar Khadafi is still in his escape. Former ruler who stepped down last September was, believed to be under the protection of his son Saif.

NTC said it is still continuing to comb the area which is the hometown of Sirte Gaddafi. They claim the fall of that city lived a matter of time.

"All our troops are preparing. Region (Sirte) are now besieged. We will kill them (the troops Gaddafi loyalists) as soon as possible. It's all arranged," said a soldier NTC.
